Music Thursday: Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition (Excerpt)

Because Monday is already taken. This column will feature music I listen to when I write, or maybe sometimes music I just like (and therefore think everyone else should, too).

To celebrate the release of Darin Kennedy‘s debut novel The Mussorgsky Riddle, here’s as excerpt of Pictures at an Exhibition, Darin’s inspiration for the story. Modest Mussorgsky himself was inspired to compose the piece after seeing the posthumous exhibition of a close friend’s artwork.

The Mussorgsky Riddle, a psychological mystery with a touch of fantasy, is available as an e-book or paperback from Amazon.com.
