Thank Johann Sebastian Bach for the invention of creepy organ music. Toccata and Fugue in D Minor is one of my favorite Halloween pieces. As I’ve made abundantly clear, I am not a classical music purist, which is who I love this version featuring violinist Vanessa-Mae:
A fugue is actually a complicated and mathematically precise form, which Bach excelled at, but its those first few notes that have sent chills up spines for all these years.
